The
Lord blesses it, anoints it, uses it."

Challenging the Giants and
Winning – A Look at Direct to Consumer Marketing
Responsibility for Marketing
has fallen to the Author. Publishers have neither the personnel nor money to
find and develop your niche. Learn how to be the catalyst, engine and major
benefactor of the inevitable success. In an innovative and challenging
seminar, join direct to consumer, marketing consultant, John Long for a look
outside the publishing box.
John is a Pastor, Writer, Speaker, Certified Christian
Counselor, Pilot and Sport Flight Instructor, sports broadcast journalist,
and network radio guest host. He is also the recently appointed Publisher of a new
Christian Music Magazine. He will represent Sharing the Victory and
Sports Spectrum. John speaks from a 25 year career writing for many
magazines as a baseball writer, aviator, maritime, marketing, and direct
marketing specialist. John is also a Supreme Court Appointed Mediator,
successful small business owner, husband, and grandfather.

Member Wins 2009 Christian Book Award
Susan Meissner won the
fiction award for her WaterBrook Multnomah book, The Shape of Mercy.
Susan is teaching the Contemporary Women's Fiction Clinic.
Additional faculty members:
Thomas Umstattd Jr. is an exciting last-minute
addition. He “loves technology.” Thomas built his first website at age 13
and taught his first web design class at only 16 years old. He has been
helping authors and small businesses use the web ever since. Thomas also
recovered from a serious computer game addiction and now talks about the
dangers of digital games and how to find freedom from a video game
addiction. His upcoming book, Digital
Cancer, shows gamers how to disengage the digital world to engage
in the true adventure of following Christ. Thomas has offered his services
as “tech guru” and will be available to do 15-minute coaching sessions.
Thomas says, “There is a lot I can do in 15 minutes from helping someone get
a blog to joining Twitter. . . . I have a passion to see Christians use
technology better. Any chance to help believers use tech to advance the
Kingdom is a win as far as I am concerned.”
