Various Faculty
Waiting on the Lord
|
 |
|
Tom and various faculty will
lead a time of worship and reflection on Habakkuk 2:1, “I will . . . wait
to see what answer God will give me” (tlb). How else can we hope to “write
His answer”? Together, let’s seek Him and His guidance for our lives and
our writing. Tom has served in local church ministry on a full-time basis
for over 24 years. As a worship leader he exudes a contagious passion for
God and is seen as a pastor to worship pastors. He has written several
songs that have had impact around the world. His ministry crosses
denominational lines and has had a profound influence in uniting the Body
of Christ. On Thursday Tom will teach two workshops on songwriting.

Mary DeMuth
Well Writing
|
 |
|
Christ follower, novelist, and freelance
writer Mary DeMuth will bring us to the feet of Jesus so we, in turn, can
bring the readers of our books and articles toward Jesus. You’ll learn the
difference between the Bound Set (building a fence) and the Centered Set
Theory (digging a well) and its implication for writers today. Does our
writing reflect the life-giving well of Jesus? Or are we mechanically
tacking on spiritual elements?

The 2005 Colorado conference was the best
experience
I've ever had
in one of Marlene's conferences - and I've
taught in several.
Marlene always provides a spiritual atmosphere
as
well as practical courses and invites an excellent faculty.
This one
seemed to be the best in every way.
I came to teach and to speak,
but God used several people to minister to
me.
I left with grateful praise
ringing in my heart.
