Teen Fiction is one of the hottest genres in the writing biz. Most teen
writers want to be the next Anthony Horowitz or [insert your fav teen
fiction writer]. If God has called a Christian teen to that goal, what does
it take to be the next blockbuster teen writer?
God’s Answer to Fiction Flaws!
takes teens on an experiential journey
through the ins and outs of strong fiction writing. This intriguing,
informative three-hour seminar transports teen writers through the fiction
process, helping them to find their strengths and demolish their defects.
Here’s what you get:
·
Workshop 1
– Find the Flaws.
How
do you wastecan writing wrongs if
you don't know what’s right from what’s wrong? The first workshop teaches
the structure and elements to build blockbuster fiction.
·
Workshop 2
– Fix the Flaws.
Amazing
fiction comes from excellent editing. Great writers are those who become
great editors of their work. We'll work together to analyze examples of
strong fiction and to deconstruct and edit examples of flabby
fiction.
·
Workshop 3
– Flatten the Flaws.
Why come to a
conference seminar if you don’t walk away with the skills to pull off what
you couldn’t do before? In this final hour you'll produce a short
piece containing all the elements of strong fiction writing.
Steph has worked
with freelance writers for six years as an associate editor
