Sandy is a full-time, freelance writer with several hundred articles including, "Our Neck of the Woods," a regular featured column in Oregon Fish and Wildlife Journal, and "Skookum," a fiction series for Cascade Horseman. Her articles and award-winning photos have appeared in numerous publications. She co-teaches “Writing for Publication” at Pacific Bible College. She has also served as a licensed tax preparer. She answers tax questions with reference to IRS publications and in conjunction with her son who is a currently licensed tax consultant. She is author of Totally Honest Tax Tips For Writers, and recently completed her requested nonfiction book, Wild Women—A Real Walk in the Woods.

Award winning author Mary Davis has been writing for over seventeen years. She has had eight novels published with three more contracted. Her short story "Blind Dates" appeared chapter-by-chapter in the 2006-2007 Heartsong Newsletter. She has a novel collection and a novella due out in 2007. She leads two critique groups and loves to go into schools to talk to students about writing. She has attended more than a dozen writers conferences including the CCWC more than half a dozen times. She loves to encourage new writers. She is an active member of ACFW. She has a bachelors degree in education. She has completed the basic course from the Institute of Children’s Literature and the Beyond the Basics Course. She lives in the Colorado Rockies with her husband of 22 years and her three teenagers.

Kathleen is an award winning author and a five-year alumna of CCWC. She attended her first ever conference here in 2002 where she won first place in the unpublished writer contest. During that conference, she joked with her new friends that someday she would be on the faculty. Apparently, the Lord thought she was serious. Since then, Barbour Publishing has released her first novel, Merely Players, for their Heartsong Presents line, and a novella, "Cookie Schemes" in the 4-in-1 anthology Love Letters. Her short stories, including the acclaimed Odd Duck series, were published online at Romancing the Christian Heart. Her other publishing credits include a vignette for the Chicken Soup franchise and an article (the same one that took the award in 2002) for www.SpiritLedWriter.com. She is the Colorado coordinator for American Christian Fiction Writers and leads her local critique group, JOY Writers. Kathleen resides in Northeastern Colorado with her husband Jim. Although empty nesters, their two adult sons, three grandchildren, two granddogs, and one grandcat also periodically live with them. Kathleen hopes her readers will giggle through her books while learning the spiritual truths God has placed there.

Tracie has a passion for serving the Lord in writing and helping new authors.  She helped to found the American Christian Fiction Writer's organization, now over 1,000 strong, and is the Zone Director for the Rocky Mountain region of this organization. Until recently Tracie was managing editor for Heartsong Presents.  She teaches at conferences and women's retreats, encouraging people no matter their calling, to fall more passionately in love with God.
