One-on-one mentoring: At the end of each workshop, you will put what you've learned into practice. Your instructor, Marlene Bagnull, will give you an objective, professional evaluation of your assignment and answers to questions you may have about writing for publication. Most assignments include a 1,000 to 1,500 word manuscript that Marlene will critique.

These courses are an outgrowth of the Personalized Study Program
 developed by Joan Unger in the 1970s

 and revised by Mary Harwell Sayler and Sandy Brooks in the 1990s.
